Team Redstone Center of Excellence Advance Planning Briefings to Industry (CE-APBI) 2024

This year’s theme is “Building partnerships to deliver ready combat formations.”

The CE-APBI provides a forum for information exchange and discussion between Industry, Academia, and Team Redstone government participants. Our event will focus on Team Redstone’s core technical capabilities, acquisition needs and future opportunities. Team Redstone leaders and subject matter experts will deliver presentations and conclude with question-and-answer sessions.

The annual event is open to small businesses, large corporations, federal contractors, and government organizations.

Team Redstone includes Army Materiel Command; the U.S. Aviation and Missile Command; National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA); the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center; the Program Executive Office – Aviation; The Program Executive Office – Missiles and Space and others.

The conference will be held March 5-7, 2024, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, CST.

This year’s event will be hosted on-site at the Sparkman Center’s Bob Jones Auditorium, Building 5304 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898.

Registration is required. US Citizens only. Last day to register is March 5, 2024.

Food and Beverages: Breakfast, lunch, and beverage vendors will be on-site from 7:00 am-1:00 pm each day, in and near the Bob Jones Auditorium lobby.

APBI Networking Social

Major General Thomas O’Connor, Commanding General, United States Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), cordially invites you to attend the APBI Networking Social.

The Networking Social will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, 5:00 pm, at the Summit at Redstone. Registration for this event will only be available upon registration of the APBI event. Must register by noon, 27 February. No refunds for cancellations after 1 March. Seating is limited.

There is a $25 cost for food and gratuity. Credit card or check only - no cash.

You will be able to pay by credit card at the time of registration, or you may mail a check. Instructions for paying by check will be available on the registration page. Payment cannot be made at the door.

Small Business Matchmaking

The AMCOM Office of Small Business will conduct an in-person Matchmaking event on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, with sessions from 1:00 - 4:00 pm and on Thursday, March 7, 2024, with sessions from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, outside of the Bob Jones Auditorium in the Sparkman Building on Redstone Arsenal. The Matchmaking sessions are participants’ opportunity to meet with local small business offices such as the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, the Missile Defense Agency, and the Space and Missile Defense Command. The matchmaking event is also an opportunity for participants to meet one-on-one with large prime contractors.

Registration for this event will only be available upon registration of the APBI event. Once you have registered for APBI you will receive a confirmation email with the link to register for Small Business Matchmaking. If you have registered for APBI and did not receive the confirmation email, please reach out to Support for assistance. Each company/organization may sign up for a MAXIMUM of 4 Matchmaking slots.

Redstone Arsenal Access

All personnel accessing Redstone Arsenal are required to be registered in the Automated Installation Entry (AIE) System. Personnel must register in AIE at the installation Visitor Control Center (VCC) outside Redstone Arsenal Gate 9. The registration process includes validating the individual's identity via their state- or federally issued photo ID, a back-ground check, and photographing the individual. The AIE system allows for an individual to register their state-issued driver's license as an access credential to begin the vetting process. Personnel may report no earlier than the day prior to the first day access is required.

Individuals with common access cards issued by other federal agencies, will register into the AIE system at the Visitor Control Center (VCC) outside Redstone Arsenal Gate 9. Individuals will present their valid government agency-issued PIV card to the VCC registrar for validation and enrollment into AIE. Access will be granted for three years or until the expiration date on the ID, whichever is shorter.

The Redstone Arsenal Visitor Control Center, located enroute to Gate 9, is open Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:00 pm CST (closed on federal holidays and weekends.
